What Happens After I submit My Application?

Modified on Fri, Jul 17 at 10:51 AM

After you submit a prequalification application, Appruv reviews the information and supporting documents against your client’s requirements.

Appruv review

The review may include:

  • Company and business information

  • Certificates of Insurance and endorsements

  • Safety performance information

  • OSHA records or Canadian workers’ compensation records

  • Experience Modification Rate documentation

  • Written safety programs

  • Business licenses and certifications

  • Bonding information

  • Client-specific forms and agreements

  • Worker or training records, when required

The requirements vary by client, location, contractor type, and services performed.

Monitor your application

You can log in to Appruv to monitor your application status and review any outstanding requirements.

During the review, the application may remain in a processing or review status. This means the review has not yet been completed and does not indicate approval or rejection.

Additional information may be requested

If information is missing, expired, inconsistent, or does not meet a client requirement, Appruv may return the affected item for correction.

A notification will be sent to the designated contacts associated with your company’s account. The notification should identify the item requiring attention and describe what must be provided or corrected.

Respond promptly to prevent delays in completing prequalification.

Client review may be required

Some programs require the client to complete an additional review or approve an exception before a final status can be assigned.

Appruv may complete its document review before the client finishes these additional steps. The company’s status will remain under review until all required actions are completed.

Final qualification status

After the required reviews are completed, your company will receive a status based on the client’s program requirements. Possible statuses may include:

  • Prequalified

  • Exception or Probation

  • Not Prequalified

  • Client Review

The available statuses and their meanings may differ by client.

Important: Prequalification does not replace site authorization, a purchase order, a contract, orientation, badging, or other client requirements. Confirm with your client before beginning work.

Keep your information current

Qualification is not a one-time activity. Your company may need to:

  • Replace expiring insurance documents.

  • Respond to new information requests.

  • Maintain worker and training records.

  • Complete an annual renewal.

  • Report material changes to company information.

Failure to maintain required information may affect your qualification status.
