Inviting Vendors

Modified on Fri, Jul 17 at 12:40 PM

Use Search Vendors to search your organization’s network and the broader Appruv Network when available.

Send an invitation

  1. Log in to Appruv.
  2. Select Invite New Vendor from the left navigation menu.
  3. Enter the contractor’s company and contact information.
  4. Select the appropriate insurance or contractor category, when applicable.
  5. Select the site or location where the contractor will work.
  6. Select the primary client approver, when required.
  7. Review the information for accuracy.
  8. Select Send Invitation.

Available fields may vary based on your organization’s Appruv configuration.

Selecting the correct contact

Whenever possible, invite a person responsible for:

  • Contractor prequalification
  • Safety and compliance
  • Insurance documentation
  • Company administration

Use a current business email address rather than a personal address or a contact who will not manage the process.

What happens next?

Appruv may review the invitation for completeness before it is released. After approval, the contractor will receive instructions to register or connect an existing account.

The contractor may appear under an Invited status while waiting to respond.

If the contractor already has an account

Use the available network-search or connection option instead of asking the contractor to create another company account.

If you cannot send an invitation

Your user role may not include invitation permissions. Contact a client administrator or another authorized user.

Important: Inviting a contractor does not prequalify the company or authorize it to begin work.
