How to Update Your Business Activities

Business Activities describe the trades, services, and types of work your company normally performs. Appruv clients may use these activities to understand your capabilities, assign requirements, or find contractors that provide particular services.

Select your Business Activities

1. Log in to Appruv.
2. Select Manage Account.
3. Select Company Details.
4. Open the Business tab.
5. Locate Business Activities and select Update.
6. Select the activities that accurately describe the services your company performs.
7. Identify activities your company typically subcontracts, when applicable.
8. Select Save.

You may select up to 10 activities. Choose the most relevant activities instead of selecting services your company does not normally provide.

Activities your company subcontracts

If your company hires subcontractors to perform certain types of work, identify those activities separately when requested. This helps clients understand which services are performed directly and which may involve lower-tier subcontractors.

Important: Updating your Business Activities may affect the requirements assigned by a client. Your company may be asked to provide additional insurance, safety programs, licenses, or training records based on the services selected.

An activity is not listed

Select the closest accurate activity. Do not select an unrelated activity simply to complete the field.

Contact Appruv Support if no available option reasonably describes your company’s services. Include a short description of the work and any suggested activity name.

When should I update this information?

Review your Business Activities when:

• Your company adds or discontinues a service.
• Your work scope changes.
• You begin subcontracting an activity.
• A client asks your company to verify its services.
• You complete an annual prequalification renewal.
