Authorized client users can scan the QR code on an Appruv badge to view a worker’s profile and available compliance information.
The information displayed depends on your permissions and the client’s program configuration.
Before scanning
Make sure:
- You are using a trusted mobile device.
- You are logged in to your authorized Appruv client account.
- The badge belongs to the worker presenting it.
- Your device has a camera and internet connection.

Scan the QR code
- Open your device’s camera application.
- Position the camera over the QR code on the badge.
- Wait for the Appruv link to appear.
- Select the link.
- Log in to Appruv if prompted.
- Review the worker profile.

Note: If you are not already logged in to appruv.com you will be forced to do so after selecting the link.
Review the worker profile
Depending on your access, the profile may show:
- Worker name and photograph
- Contractor company
- Training or orientation status
- Expiration information
- Other client-authorized compliance details
Confirm that the worker’s identity matches the badge and profile.
Important: A badge alone does not prove that every requirement is current. Review the displayed status and applicable training information before permitting access.

Look up a worker manually
If the QR code cannot be scanned:
- Log in to Appruv.
- Select Users from the navigation menu.
- Select User Lookup.
- Enter the Appruv ID printed on the badge.
- Select Lookup.
- Review the resulting worker profile.

Badge does not match the worker
Do not allow the worker to use another person’s badge. Follow your organization’s site-access procedure and notify the appropriate client administrator or security contact.
Profile cannot be found
Confirm that the Appruv ID was entered correctly. The worker may be inactive, associated with another company, or unavailable to your user permissions.
