Does Prequalification Mean I Can Begin Work?

Modified on Fri, Jul 17 at 11:12 AM

No. An Appruv qualification status does not, by itself, authorize your company or workers to begin work.

Prequalification confirms that your company has completed the applicable contractor review requirements. The client may require additional approvals before work begins.

Additional requirements may include

  • An executed contract

  • A purchase order

  • Site or project approval

  • Orientation or safety training

  • Worker-level verification

  • Required training certificates

  • Drug or background screening

  • Site access credentials or badges

  • Permits or task-specific documentation

  • Approval from a client representative

Requirements may vary by client, location, project, and work scope.

Confirm authorization with your client

Before mobilizing workers or beginning services, contact your client representative to confirm:

  • Your company is approved for the specific site or project.

  • Required workers are approved.

  • Training and orientation are complete.

  • Site-access requirements have been satisfied.

  • A contract or purchase order has been issued.

  • The planned start date is authorized.

Important: Appruv does not schedule contractor work or issue permission to enter a client location unless that authority is specifically included in the client’s program.
